Postage stamp depicting Bryullov's painting

Photograph of a postage stamp depicting the painting by K.P. Bryullov "The Last Day of Pompeii" (1833). The stamp shows a scene with many people in motion against the background of destroyed buildings and a burning sky. On the right side of the stamp, figures of horses and people are visible. Along the edge of the stamp are the inscriptions: "STATE RUSSIAN MUSEUM" and "K.P. BRYULLOV. THE LAST DAY OF POMPEII (1833)".
